'A Record' sets a hook that monitors your actions and susequently writes an autoit script. 'Window Text' means that the 'ScriptWriter' will harvest text from the window you are interacting with to help identify it upon replaying the script. Text does not always need to be monitored if window titles change. In some install wizards the Window title remains the same, so 'Window Text' would be useful in that instance.
